Not bad at all that. Having said that for a site in London ours is only £13 for my plot, roughly 8 x 7 m

Nowt much from mine in the way of fruit, though I think has been so dry that the birds are going mad for fruit, jusy for the water content.Massive fail with my raspberries this year... No idea why
My tomatoes are still green...Our tomatoes have just been positively bursting with flavour. I can usually take or leave them but they are sweet as sweet can be. Spinach & chard still cropping like a loon. Found some self-seeded tomato & courgettes in the flower beds which I'm letting run on out of curiosity.
I picked a green one up at the weekend and out it on the kitchen unit to catch the afternoon sun. It's ripened up nicely. The self-seeded tomatoes are starting to fruit now, I'm just overrun by the sweetest juiciest tomatoes ever.My tomatoes are still green...

Same here mate like flared hicks said once to size I whip them into window sill for a day or two.My tomatoes are still green...
Where do you lot grow your tomatoes? Mine are just in tubs at the bottom of the garden against a brick wall that catches the afternoon/evening sun. Had bowl after bowl of ripe ones off just 5 plants. I pinch out all the branches which are just leaves, no flowers or fruit to allow maximum air and sun to reach the fruitSame here mate like flared hicks said once to size I whip them into window sill for a day or two.
TBH the same but without the attention to detail. Let them over grow a bit this year so plenty fruit but not getting ripe. Thinned them out last weekend and they have started to ripen straight away. A lesson learned I suppose.Where do you lot grow your tomatoes? Mine are just in tubs at the bottom of the garden against a brick wall that catches the afternoon/evening sun. My dad will knock you up one for free if you want mate. Loads of lovely tomatoes and potatoes, more than we can eat!Do the allotments sell veg boxes?
My usual seller has given up doing them
Aye if ya go round and ask you will get a f***ing load. Even though I grow bits of stuff the father in law still insists on pawning me off with 80,000 tomato’s he doesn’t want.My dad will knock you up one for free if you want mate. Loads of lovely tomatoes and potatoes, more than we can eat!

I shove tomatoes in pots on the patio and hope. For some reason they always come out really well - we've had tonnes (bit warmer than up north so a bit ahead of people) - made a couple of huge vats of tomato sauce for the freezer, the kids have eaten tonnes and we're fobbing them off on all the family now.
