Bairstow's been twisting all day.Bairstow and the Yorkies were desperate to go off for bad light there, in the umpires ear at the end of every over.
Just another day at the Bairstow office then.Bairstow's been twisting all day.
Taking ages to change ends between overs, sauntering down to the other end after a long chat with the bowlerBairstow's been twisting all day.
Just in after the second bad light delay. Bairstow is a disgrace should be docked a sizeable chunk of his match fee for his time wasting anticsWell Yorkshire were desperate to get off. Bairstow taking forever swapping ends, you could see what he wanted. The first time they went off they were half way off before the reading. It's a strange one this bad light thing now having experienced the farce that was Somerset away last season, I don't class those two calls today as bad light, merely using the Somerset away logic. It's a very strange one. Not much else to say about the game, we have done very well and ever so pleased to see Gay cash in, it was much needed. Crack on tomorrow basically.
Great to see … this is exactly what we needed .. the top order to score runs100 well batted Emilio Gay, quality, brilliant partnership, Alex Lees class all day
Walking sick note that lad.Just saw Coggers he’s injured his abbs. Should be able to bat but can’t bowl.
Was right in front of us - definitely a four.I would like to add to the list of dodgy antics. It was a 4, he kicked the rope with the ball in his hand and claimed he flicked it back. As long as I have a hole in my arse he did not flick it back to save 2 runs.
I think its fair to say that no-one is/was against him...he just needed to get going . Chuffed for him today....great for the team but more importantly for his own confidence. Hopefully Rhodes can come good soon tooWhere are the anti gays now
People weren't giving him a fair chanceI think its fair to say that no-one is/was against him...he just needed to get going . Chuffed for him today....great for the team but more importantly for his own confidence. Hopefully Rhodes can come good soon too
Was just to our left, I thought he said it was four to the umpire but obviously not, there was a bunch of yorkies directly where it happened, surprisingly they said nowt, but were happy to tell their fielder that he was moving the toblerones the wrong way as he moved them back to their original position…….about a yard and a half away..Was right in front of us - definitely a four.

I think people just said that it wasn’t a great start, which after 4 innings it wasn’t. Nobody had wrote him off, simply said it was a concerning start, which after 3 ducks in 4 innings it was.
Today though was brilliant, and hopefully the start of a brilliant season for him.
It’s called being balanced.
Possible other contender - the battered copy of Dostoevsky's 'The Brothers Karamazov'. I suspect the biography of Slash out of the Guns n Roses pop combo may still be there in September.
