C.C. Durham v Yorkshire (h)

Well Yorkshire were desperate to get off. Bairstow taking forever swapping ends, you could see what he wanted. The first time they went off they were half way off before the reading. It's a strange one this bad light thing now having experienced the farce that was Somerset away last season, I don't class those two calls today as bad light, merely using the Somerset away logic. It's a very strange one. Not much else to say about the game, we have done very well and ever so pleased to see Gay cash in, it was much needed. Crack on tomorrow basically.

Just in after the second bad light delay. Bairstow is a disgrace should be docked a sizeable chunk of his match fee for his time wasting antics
.

Was right in front of us - definitely a four.
Was just to our left, I thought he said it was four to the umpire but obviously not, there was a bunch of yorkies directly where it happened, surprisingly they said nowt, but were happy to tell their fielder that he was moving the toblerones the wrong way as he moved them back to their original position…….about a yard and a half away..

Apart from the weather a thoroughly enjoyable day when we were on top throughout. Good to see Lees and Gay get amongst the runs as both were due scores, especially Gay. Judging by Yorkshires time wasting tactics they've already given up any hope of a win. Think it will be a a struggle to bowl them out cheaply second time round though. Maybe we can claim that Coggers injury is a concussion and can replace him with a bowler? Seems quite reasonable as Yorkshire got away with it the last time we played them in the second division.

Bairstow and the Yorkies were desperate to go off for bad light there, in the umpires ear at the end of every over.

It’s Nout to do with that

They took the reading on the first day so as soon as that’s reached again, they have to go off

It’s bollocks
I think people just said that it wasn’t a great start, which after 4 innings it wasn’t. Nobody had wrote him off, simply said it was a concerning start, which after 3 ducks in 4 innings it was.

Today though was brilliant, and hopefully the start of a brilliant season for him.

It’s called being balanced.

He’s talking nonsense

Cricket fans are fair and good as if someone delivers theyve change view.
