No. But I would expect them to mot the car before taking possession.

Most dealers offer a minimum of 9 months MOT

An MOT only shows a car is roadworthy on the date it was tested. In your case 3 - 4 months ago, a lot could have happened ti it in that time.

I would insist on a full 12 months MOT its peace of mind for you and some protection for the dealer.
