I would imagine Wimbledon will be physical it’s in the DNA of the Crazy gang.I'm not saying we lost tonight because we looked lightweight though. Its poor finishing that cost us tonight. Burton aren't a physical side by league 1 standard so that side wouldn't be a factor against such teams so much. The likes of gillingham on the other hand..
The reality is with us playing more football now we may pass it around such teams. But I do have my reservations against the more physical teams in the league.
Maybe it's just the mood I'm in. I hope so. But I don't share the general feeling of satisfaction with that performance.
Johnson is right. Doubtless we would have won that game on 85% of hypothetical occasions. But our final ball was poor, again, and the set pieces were dire, in the main. We also achieved relatively little when playing 'through the lines'. The high press was also non-existent (but that may have been intentional).
I like the spirit of this side and what it's trying to achieve. I think we'll beat Wimbledon on Saturday. But I think we fell short against Burton.

Where were we unlucky? Playing well and losing isn’t always down to bad luck.I’m happy with the overall performance and with our play in the two previous games so long May it continue. You sound hard to please. Luck was the difference tonight, and nothing more.
Bloody hell. How many chances did we have where a forward just failed to get on the end. Their goalie has had a blinder too.You must be logged on to see external links
The goalkeeper certainly did shithouse, and the throw ins took longer once they'd scoredA lot bigger than previous seasons, but to be fair they play hard and don't shithouse, so have no beef with them.
Yeah, good decision from the lino, unfortunately. You must be logged on to see media items
Not off
It wasn't luck. Stewart and McGeady made bad decisions when clean through. Their goal was a great shot. We could have made more of the pressure we had for a lot of the game, but we didn'tYou sound hard to please. Luck was the difference tonight, and nothing more.
I guess it almost did, on a couple of occasions. But we fell short, overall. We played more direct due to their high line which should have paid dividends.
I've changed my mind on that. At first glance, Flanners looks hugely on, but it looks like he was off at the precise point of delivery. It was a matter of tenths of seconds.Yeah, good decision from the lino, unfortunately.
Very well explained. It wasn't luck. Stewart and McGeady made bad decisions when clean through. Their goal was a great shot. We could have made more of the pressure we had for a lot of the game, but we didn't
I think experience counts, young players can be in and out of form and it takes a long time to learn.Having a youthful side has nowt to do with it.
