You win some , you lose some. Had we taken our chances we would have won, but we didn't

We're only 3 games in and bring on Wimbledon

Thought we played quite well, not going to get in a huff about it

Regardless of the disallowed goal we shudda been out of sight. Mcgeady tried a silly attempt to put us 1-0 up instead of being the experienced pro he is and making sure we went 1-0 up he tried the hollywood finish and cocked it up. Played some decent stuff at times and missed good chances and could have won comfortably but football has a habit of kicking u in the teeth and tonight we were victims of that, tbh burton played well and could have scored at least 3 themselves. Tonight will be a learning curve but in fairness we should not be saying that as we should have been comfortable by HT. impressed by a lot of tonight bar the finishing. Unlucky lads and fair play Burton, i like Jimmy Floyd and hope he has a good season.

The frustrating thing is, the decision shouldn’t ha e mattered, we should’ve been out of sight. That is the bigger issue.

we should have. There’ll not many times we get that many opportunities to score and not take at least one.

However, there’ll not be many times we get half that many opportunities and we’ll be required to take one or two. It’s the concern with the squad for me; do we have enough goals in us? Stewart is undoubtedly a better all round footballer than Wyke but is he going to get 20-23 goals? Jury is out. And if he doesn’t, two or three of the rest are going to have to buck the trend of previous seasons and get 10+

People acting like it was smash n grab. Certainly wasn't that. We missed some good chances, after 25 minutes they came into the game and it was an even game until they went ahead. When they went ahead they sat back and we were probing but despite that they managed to hit the bar through Smith. Poor result, performance cause for concern IMO but certainly wouldn't write us off. Got some of the new lads to get up to speed and should be a couple more through the door

Christ you're a bit touchy lad. I'm not attacking you just stating Burton will be up there. You win some and you lose some, stop acting the petulant child.

Tell you what, I’ll go on a Boro forum after you’ve suffered a narrow defeat and big up your opponents eh? Let’s see how many petulant children I can wind up eh?

Probably not many but the odd one or two do spoil it. Get a grip of yourself man you lost out narrowly to a decent side.
