I watched Parker making team changes last night and honestly thought that he had absolutely no game plan and no idea what to do next.
I felt sorry for Burnley fans watching. They can do much better than him thatā€™s for certain

The lack of quality in the squad leads to that. They're simply not good enough

I have generally admired Burnley over the years but I'm not sure that team is Championship quality. It was sickening watching our slide from PL to L1, they could do the same.

They were a different side early doors of the season. Something has happened where they've just given up. Shite signings might be a factor as they just look as flat as a fart. Parker sounded like a finished man in the post match interview
 
I realise it was a Monday night and they are struggling but their recent form has upticked a little.....

That away support has to be the shittest PL away support of any team we've had in any of our PL seasons. Maybe Fulham have run them close a couple of times. There must have been 200 there tops.

Itā€™s one of the shortest away trips as well compared to all the trips down south. Never like to put down a group of fans but that was a poor showing weā€™ve seen smaller sides in the championship being more for a midweek game.
 
Fantastic result, didn't play well at times but we didn't need to. Burnley were dreadful and lucky to get away with only three.

So to recap, they spaffed over SIXTY MILLION on three Chelsea deadweights, who they were probably looking to offload anyway. I can just picture Parker sat there at the recruitment meeting, plumbers tape rings still fresh on his shit cardigan, saying "don't worry lads, I've got this..." and scrolling to his Chelsea contact list and asking the finance team to pay 200% of the asking price for two defensive players no one outside of W1 has ever heard of and a striker so utterly shit that even Everton sent him packing.

As has been said before, we don't get enough credit when we win games - there's always an excuse for the dismal performance of the defeated team.

Played them at the right time/at their lowest ebb;
Played them when they had loads of injuries;
Played them when they've turned in their worst performance of the season.

Maybe, just maybe, (injuries aside) there's a common denominator for it always being the right time/them being at a low ebb/them turning in a season's-worst performance.

Maybe that common denominator wears red-and-white stripes.

i was quite surprised how few they brought up. not to belittle them but in recent years we've had the likes of shrewsbury, wycombe and morecambe bring more.
