Yep, it’s why you’re seeing the more traditional no.9’s of the past generations having an Indian summer so to speak. Lewandowski, Giroud etc, even Chris Wood.

It’s because there’s so few about with that skill set and football is adapting. You need someone up there who can get hold of it to beat the press that so many teams employ now.

I think it’s why we’re favouring Mayenda over Isidor at the minute. They both have the pace in behind, but Mayenda’s learned to back in and at least make an attempt to get us up the pitch at times.

Wilson, as much as I love the bloke, tends to fall over more.

Shame big Ross Stewart had the injuries he had, I honestly think he could have been a real handful in the Prem league.
