The Republic used to have a canny side 15-20 years back. Wales had a decent side around 2016.

Why is it the other nations have no top class players? You look at other small nations around the world with similar populations and many of them have 1-2 top players. Are they too focused on other sports like rugby and Hurling and Garlic football?

I agree, but I've never known Scotland do so well when qualifying before.
