British Isles 11

In the spirit of international weekend. What would be your chosen 11?

Only one non England player for me and even that’s a close run thing with Shaw.

Pickford
Robertson
Stones
Maguire
Walker
Rice
Bellingham
Saka
Foden
Grealish
Kane

I'd probably bench Grealish and put Trent in centre midfield and then push Bellingham behind Kane with Saka and Foden either side of Bellingham

Robertson is a lot better than Shaw for me mind.

I'm a Pickford fan, but Kelleher wouldn't be far off from pushing him out of the spot.
Pretty spot on tho, no? (Cole Palmer or TAA over Grealish for me tho). Harry ‘snipers dream’ Maguire is the weak link there. No better CB from any of the other nations?

Think shaw is the better defender but no doubt Robertsons ability to get forward makes him the better pick imo
McTominay would be useful to bring on in centre midfield.

Agreed, could only see it if you drop grealish as he doesn’t get in ahead of Bellingham foden rice or saka

The standard of the other nations is shocking.

The Republic used to have a canny side 15-20 years back. Wales had a decent side around 2016.

Scotland been wank since the 80s.

This just makes me think of what a world beating team we would of had in the late 60s and seventies with George best and the Lisbon lions in it!
