Brennan Johnson (signed for Palace)

The former is 4 years younger cost half the amount. Then Johnson at the same age as Talbi was on loan at Lincoln against us in League One.

Not saying I’d want us to spend what he’d cost as I think our scouting team can find as good for less but the ones saying he’s champion standard at best are bonkers, Clark is a championship player and Brenan has done way, way more in the PL than Clark has and probably ever will.

He’s above championship level, comfortably imo.

The fact numerous PL clubs are after him suggests the lad is a capable PL player

He has all the attributes and is what four years younger. He has pace to burn and has shown in the champions league he can finish. It’s literally his first few months in this league where as Johnson was brought up in the British system and played at three levels In England.

Johnson is 4 years older . He was on loan at Lincoln at a similar age .
The lad may never get the numbers Johnson has but to compare a 24 yr old to a 20 yr old who is just starting his career is a bit daft.
