It's 3rd team cricket FFS not test cricket. You lost get over it and stop being a sore loser.
Cheated you mean..........
I don't think anyone on the cricket forum really gives a fuck tbh![]()
he has to have played 3 first team games before he is fully band anyway and if they can prove they had no other option but to play him they will be fine. I'm sure this young lad was only in the 1sts to make the numbers up anyway.
3rd team played Washington few weeks ago we got 204 off 45 they got them for 7 wickets off about 42 overs. Turns out their opener who got 60 odd had played 1st team on the Saturday and shouldn't have played.
League only gave them a warning. We have appealed it get to know outcome tomorrow. We played a lad few year ago in the cup that we shouldn't and conceded the tie even tho the lad only scored 2 and only bowled a couple of overs.
Know you lot would really wish us well![]()
I dare Brandon to play Karl Turner in the HLSCL.![]()
Jesus look you got beat bugger off and play hell somewhere else like on the motorway.![]()
He played in a little internal 20x20 the other day and twated one of the poor midweek lads all over![]()
I hope the lad has put an official complaint in.
I'm 1st team captain at Washington and the lad in question has only played two 1st team league games this season. He played on the Saturday before the game in question because I was unavailable, he batted number 8. He is a promising young cricketer but not quite a 1st team regular yet.
This lad is now not allowed to play for the Sunday team until we hear otherwise from the league, which does seem a bit unfair as he has played the majority of the season for them. He has been really unlucky though, because I think if he didn't score runs that weekend nothing would have been said. He has worked very hard and deserves those runs. He is far from an ineligible player. I think common sense should prevail and I'm sure as a club we wont make the mistake of not informing the league again.
Exactly right. If Brandon had bowled him for a first ball duck they'd have kept quiet. Seems like sour grapes to me.

To be fair we wouldn’t have known about it. The league informed us. Our lads felt aggrieved as they had to withdraw from the cup a few years ago because we played a lad we shouldn’t who had no impact on the game. Fair play as it turns out if they had of applied dispensation would have been given I am happy to accept the league decision.
Good luck to Washington think we may even have them in a cup !
