Bowler rotation this Ashes series

I think Trent bridge is at least the same size as Headingley though

Why not play tests where the Australians rarely win ?

As for headingley having an ashes test with the racism scandal pending punishment is not right imo

Just checked and Headingley only holds 800 more than TB, which I was surprised at so fair point. But it brings in the North East geographically (cue the Hundred debate ;)) Also, haven’t Yorkshire got shot of the racists now?

They have got rid but there’s still pending a punishment decision

Imo Durhams punishment sets the bench mark

Indeed I did say that. That has nothing to do with the Ashes though, does it? And since that is what this thread is about, your point is still irrelevant.
You are supposedly English and you would want us to get beat because you are having hissy fit because your favourite player was dropped

I'm half Irish. When Ireland play England at football, I want the Irish to win, we've had that exact same conversation on Twitter. Another irrelevant point

On twitter as well

Very kinky. I don’t use twitter apart from skysports cricket thread for wicket replays

Twitter isn't for old gits

Why though you support England at cricket
The answer is incredibly obvious, but I'll explain anyway.

Because for the vast majority of my life, the Irish didn't play Test cricket.

If you think Twitter is kinky, you wanna get yourself on Tumblr

So you support England but supporting Ireland this game then will go back to England, and it has nothing to do with foakes been left out let's be honest if he was playing you would want him to make hundred and England to win.

This is more than enough for me to get annoyed with

If I joined and posted elsewhere then that would be me in hospital recuperating within a week

It’s been a very shabby way of treating a player they claimed was “the best in the world” as a keeper

Whilst maintaining Crawley . It’s that double standard and imo Bairstow should bat only with Foakes keeping

Bairstow could be in the field for two days and he has been seen limping during the championship this summer

I don’t see him repeating last summer or close to it , batting at 7

Think that’s fair to say

Mate, I know you love detailing threads with personal arguments, but frankly I have too much respect for the majority of the folk in this cricket forum to keep derailing this thread with who I support and why.

If you're genuinely interested in the reasons, feel free to PM me. If, as I suspect, you aren't, then pipe down.
Apologies to other posters for me getting sucked in.

I laugh reacted the first part of your post about social media, but I wish I could "love" react the rest of it! Spot on.

AHH the old resort to accusing people of derailing a thread just like when you don't agree with @MustardAndOnions

Still double standards though. Any way I’m off to bed now

Let’s leave it at that and go back to talking about the attack

I’m intrigued as to who would come in for spin if leach went down
