Just consistently inconsistent. The wins over Stoke and Derby didn't paper over the cracks.
Doak and Lath are huge misses for us and we now don't have a fit senior CB at the club.
I think Carrick will be allowed to see the rest of the season out and will leave by mutual consent.

We are shite so god knows how bad you lot must be. Could still get 6th though as everyone is inconsistent in the running apart from Coventry and they have the hardest fixtures left of all the chasing clubs.

I feel the quality of the league is worse than it has been in a long time. I’ve never once been impressed by Sheff United when watching them but look at their points haul!

Difficult to see it. We are incredibly one dimensional under Carrick and he doesn't have a clue how to change it when things are going against us.

Neither would I, but you could say the same about West Brom, Blackburn, Bristol City, Sheff Wed, Millwall, Watford, Norwich and probs a couple of others.
Coventry seem to be consistent & the top 4 are way too ahead to be caught by 6th down imo.

Far better get someone in now give them 10 games to see what they have got then /how they can set them up -and learn then go gain ?

I'm thinking maybe Gibson doesn't want to sack him and have to pay out the compensation money. Carrick is contracted to be at the club until June 2027.
It wouldn't surprise me if there's already been some kind of deal made that they will shake hands and Carrick will move on at the end of the season if we don't make the playoffs.

Doaks injury is massive blow -I thought you may sneak in but with Coventrys upturn and wba picking up points under the guile of TM as well it’s not looking likely-Doak seemed key ?
