All I've pointed out is that earlier this season a lot on here were crowing about you being way above us (in table) - and I said that it's a long old season and you had been above us the two seasons previous too - until the end .
Pretty obvious you are better than us and are gonna finish higher than us this season.
Have to say, it was pretty hard seeing us bossed last night but I did admire your performance - controlled the game after the first 20 minutes or so and fully deserved the win.

Boro believe their own hype every season, start off badly, hit a 10-15 game purple patch then completely fall away and the cycle restarts the following August

Stockpiled their squad with loans I think they’ll struggle if they don’t go up through the play offs this season

Let's see in time, whether Jobe Bellingham, Chris Rigg and Enzo Le Fée or Finn Azaz, Morgan Whittaker and Aiden Morris have better careers.

They’re in denial bless ‘em. They still think they are gonna beat us in play off final. Discounting we could go up in autos and they won’t make the playoffs.

Yes, you're bound to get some that are deluded / in denial or whatever.
The down to earth, realistic ones (myself included) know that those opinions (us being the better side) just aren't true.
It's blatantly obvious that you have the better side

There’s not as much in it as some would say. Mind I’m not convinced by that Whittaker. Just seems to do absolutely nowt if he doesn’t score a worldly.

Ayling won’t have to worry about Le Fee again either, unless we meet in the playoffs.

People can't keep harping on with this best 11v11 crap.
Got to face it, your side/squad is better than ours.
You're proving it this season and definitely proved it the other night.

Being realistic (and honest), you have a really good chance of automatic promotion, and we can't even say that about getting in the play offs.

Have to wait n see about Whittaker, it was only his first game.
I thought he made some good through passes early on (when we looked half decent), but then just seemed to disappear.

Le Fee looks a class player
Yes Ayling had a torrid time, but even when we have the ball (in defence), our 'ability' to play out from the back borders on comical - heart skips a beat cos I know a miss-placed pass is only seconds away.

We’re the same with this passing out from the back lark, seems every club now wants to train it, my feeling is for players value to increase but it does no good for the heart!

Was good to see a keeper with the same level of kicking ability as Patto mind 🤣
 
Sum of carricks game plan was press high, fast and hard early on, fair enough it almost worked for 20 mins but in reality it could never be maintained and we just had to see that out.

After the initial 20 we took control and looked the better side although couldn’t put them away and it could have backfired.

I like Hackney but he needs help and defensively they are a car crash at the minute…. if we hadn’t won it would have felt like another that got away from us.

Have to say, just before your third goal, I made the ultimate Boro fans mistake of thinking it was gonna end 2-2.
At the same time, my thoughts on that were that we'd massively got out of jail.

At 1-2 I genuinely expected it was end up sumat like 1-4.

Well…yes….In these days of ‘Sports Science’ and every club having reams of data on every aspect of each of their players, that the club would have something to say if Patto actually has a “weight problem”.
Perhaps he is just built that way and it looks worse than it actually is.
…..as opposed to just being ‘fat’ like I am. 😀

Work with 2 boro fans and they're both the same. One reckoned before the game Monday that they'd catch us and finish above.

Probably is just his build.
I've not seen much of Sunderland this season but your performances and league position indicate he (and the rest of them) aren't doing much wrong.
