Boro thread

Carrick is such a prick. Asked about Le Fee in interview he couldn’t bring himself to give an ounce of credit just replying “yes, there is individual talent on both teams” …miserable twat and a total contrast to Le Bris who will praise the opposition team/players when he realises they played well. Carrick will be gone in the Summer and Boro can get a decent manager. Carrick is an arrogant pig headed failure, especially

Le Bris is embarrassing him.
Carrick has had money and time. Still the season isn't over, if they can sneak into the playoffs they'll have a chance.
We always have mistakes in us. Hope I'm wrong but if we did get there I get a feeling this team would let us down.
I've been going since I was 8 I'm now 61 .defeats and fuck ups are getting harder to take.
But hey you lads came and turned us over with a bit of skill and tenacity .so fair play

You start going in 1972? Or there abouts?
My first match at Ayresome was Good Friday 1972, against Luton (0-0), I was 10 !!! 😱

First 'Boro match' I went to though was the reserves against Stockton at their old Victoria Ground, 1971 - the day Leeds got knocked out of the FACup by Colchester.

I liked this post by a Boro fan on their forum:

Dieng
Brynn
Smith
Dijksteel
Lenihan
Engel
Bangura
Howson
Doak
McGree

All unavailable

Conway and Iling-Junior not available to start

Forss and Morris not -00% match fit

Iheanacho not yet available

Did they have one player out?

Only our first two choice Left Wingers, as well as Alese and we can add in Browne to that.
We have 2 players out with ACL's and 2 out with broken legs. Both our left wingers have been injured for a couple of months.

But apart from that.

Boro's main issue is they sold their star striker.

Doak and McGree are decent players but the rest are just alternatives rather than being significantly better than what they have. We have played without a LW since start of December, which has unbalanced us a hell of a lot.
Would say that our attack will only get better when one of them is back and Le Fee is in middle and closer to some of our better footballers. He can then slip ten yard passes to runners rather than having to hit Hollywood passes (which he can do as well).

Very quiet walk back to the car last night, not a peep out of our footballing cousins on Teeside.

Never realised what a late own goal could do to the home fans , they’d all gone mute. 😂

Yeah about that .I've usually got a brilliant memory but alas can't remember my first game.my dad took me as its easier to get to from shildon.the rest is history

.I'm just starting to think with gf having cancer and I'm moping around thinking bout the boro.maybe time to take a break .Still as passionate as ever but sick of this current crop letting me down

We were pretty much the last to leave the seats in the away end last night and was shocked to see those needing to head back to town weren't held back, was the 1st time since 97/98 where I havnt seen any bother or chew on, didn't see and haven't heard of anything either our walk back was fine

None of them are Micah Hamilton or Tommy Conway that’s for sure. Expensive mind 👍

They're class entertainment like.

I do miss Boro_Virgin and Teesside Steven mind. Steven would have been on here a lot more had they won being all matey with everyone.
