Exactly.Great, the attendance cup.
Not the point of football at all - that's the point.
Take Luton Town for instance.

How many did you lose when you went nearly bustThrough thick and thin? You lost 15,000 when you got relegated to the championship and you watch the games in the nav ffs
Well Hank. You should know bout been a small club
Well Hank.
As wev17 says - being a so called big club (by your own supporters) hasnt done you a lot of good since the early 1900's has it?
Didnt my 'little club' finish higher in the league than your club last season.
And, didnt we play in a higher division than your club for the last 4 seasons prior?
Course it is about supporting your team.through thick & thin
A teessider who ridicules the area despite living there. How many did you lose when you went nearly bust![]()
They fail to realise they will always be mediocre just like we are. In the grand scheme of things we’re both absolutely nothing. I’d be delighted to see us finishing in the top 10 of the premier league and have a good run there. Don’t have any delusion that we belong there like some on here do howeverYep but all clubs lose fans when times are poor. Roker Park had plenty crowds under 10k. Who cares though? I'm here to hopefully see Boro scrape another cup in my lifetime and a run in the PL, not get bigger attendances than someone - because it means absolutely nothing
Aye, my mouse (on the desktop) appears to be having some issues !!!Did both your heads post them ha ha lol
Got to agree though we’ve certainly got nothing to brag about
Where have I ridiculed the are ya loonA teessider who ridicules the area despite living there.never claimed our support isn’t thickle either our catchment area is probably big enough to attract more but it is what it is. The reality is mate your Sunderland you have strong regional support and good distant history but the reality is in the modern era and right now we are both mediocre and will both continue to be mediocre

They do, but take into consideration they’ve won a load in the early 90s late 1800s and spent 27 more seasons in the top flight competing at the same level the gap is around 7,000 difference on average hardly massive like they go on.Aye, my mouse (on the desktop) appears to be having some issues !!!
Thing is, we all know you have more fans than us - i'm just saying that in the grand scheme of things it doesnt really make you any better than us.
We all think our own club is the most important one - but ultimately we're all judged on silverware.
Would you pay our prices for season tickets like? Teesside has some of the most deprived areas in Europe ffs and the cheapest adult season card is 490 poundWhere have I ridicule the area ya loon
Where have I ridiculed the are ya loon
I've only ridiculed your support
I know I live in one of them Eston but Sunderland have deprived areas tooThey do, but take into consideration they’ve won a load in the early 90s late 1800s and spent 27 more seasons in the top flight competing at the same level the gap is around 7,000 difference on average hardly massive like they go on.

It’s not just quantity…it’s quality of support. We are considerably better on both countsThey do, but take into consideration they’ve won a load in the early 90s late 1800s and spent 27 more seasons in the top flight competing at the same level the gap is around 7,000 difference on average hardly massive like they go on.

your home atmosphere is poorer than ours, loads of people compliment the atmosphere at our place the numbers are a bit average understandably at the minute but the atmosphere is always loudIt’s not just quantity…it’s quality of support. We are considerably better on both counts
Not sure about the 'hating the mags' bit, but i agree about calming down. Can we all just calm down and everyone just agree we all hate the mags ffs?
Personally I've got no time for it all, pointlessNot sure about the 'hating the mags' bit, but i agree about calming down.
Who cares who gets higher attendances than who ?
nah definitely hate Newcastle. Hope they and the other oil tribe city and Chelsea fuck off out the leagueNot sure about the 'hating the mags' bit, but i agree about calming down.
