It’s an awful league to try and get out of when you haven’t got the parachute payments like. We managed it by very very very good recruitment and a good academy but it’s not an easy job to do.

The lad from Blackburn -Brittain seemed very decent whenever I saw him play .
Think your new manager will strengthen the defence …and this is a step in that direction-be a good signing .

Brittain will be a good signing. He's in the last year of his contract and desperate to leave, so we should get him at a decent price.

Danny Ings reportedly close to signing, which has divided opinion amongst Boro fans.
