I haven't gone yet mind, still have hopes the world might see sense.
The lad was just a bairn, rightly or wrongly it's just pathetic ...who doesn't say or do something stupid at 14yrs old...
then in that case kev, the rule needs updating to more like 16 or 18.There is. 13, cos there are laws on what data companies can hold on anyone younger.
so if that's the case he was only a child and his parents should take responsibility not him..Yes, but i go back to the point, he had a choice when he got into football to come off social media or delete comments, personally i don't believe people who are under 18 should have social media at all, on a wider point i blame the parents who get their little darlings an table or smartphone, and just let them crack on with it, without putting limits on their online activities, at my age when i started using the internet, you had to know what you were doing with a computer first, these days every joker and their offspring can do it.

Yep. I don't know why they picked 13 as the age these laws apply to, but given 16/18 are thresholds for plenty of other rules and laws it wouldn't have been out of place.then in that case kev, the rule needs updating to more like 16 or 18.
Ah, but the snag is, he's an adult now, i doubt it isn't going to be more than a slap on the wrist etc.so if that's the case he was only a child and his parents should take responsibility not him..
That's not the point.Ah, but the snag is, he's an adult now, i doubt it isn't going to be more than a slap on the wrist etc.
Yeah, so the solution is you need to prove your age to access it.Yep. I don't know why they picked 13 as the age these laws apply to, but given 16/18 are thresholds for plenty of other rules and laws it wouldn't have been out of place.
As has been said though, plenty make up a dob and there are no checks.
That's why I'm hereWill this thread attract all the loonies from the politics forum?
If you have an Alexa you deserve everything that's coming to youBefore long you'll get the sack for something that Alexa picked up you muttering when you stub your toe on the way to going for a piss at 4am.
but he was a child when he did it...Ah, but the snag is, he's an adult now, i doubt it isn't going to be more than a slap on the wrist etc.
Yeah, and its had all that time to get rid of it.. and yet, hasn'tbut he was a child when he did it...
I would have thought the first job for an agent when they sign a young 'un up these days is to get their social media "cleaned".but he was a child when he did it...
interesting, maybe an idea that an age limit should be placed upon social media.
Really you got to be to 16 enlist in the army, 17 to drive, 18 to drink and Vote,I don't see an issue.Like the statute of limitations?
Slippery slope I think.
