What is the point of telling you lot anything. It's like you want any good news to be wrong. The tickets are prepared at Newcastle and sent on email. The tickets are not purchased actually in America. SAFC have a corporate account at the airport. Oh and the flight is JFK to Charles De Gaulle to Newcastle.

So, where as most people book on-line or phone the call centre to book a flight, we have a special person at Newcastle Airport that we contact to miss out these easy options.

And we even prepare tickets for someone 3,000 miles away rather than just emailing him the ticket to flash at check in on his iphone, nee wonder he isn't coming, we sound like a bunch of backward hicks. I bet we have booked him a seat with a fookin Betamax video to watch video's on for the flight back

OP Update has somewhat invalidated these comments now however

I'm sure he could fly direct from Boston to Europe.

My friend works at Newcastle airport and has just prepared first class tickets for a certain Fabio Borini from America. Surely too much to be a coincidence?
Don't shoot the messenger.

You are a bull shitter. They don't prepare tickets at Ponteland.

According to Andy on Twitter, he had resumed training in the USA.
So, either:
He was training and injured himself even more (unlikely as we'd have heard reports about it)
Or he's returning home for another reason other than injury (there are doctors and people out there in America too, btw)

Interesting that he didn't mention Liverpool at all in his tweet about him coming back to England.

it could be something much less covert though, like Liverpool don't want to spend thousands on am American specialist for someone they are desperately trying to create demand for.

So your story has changed from "surely it's no coincidence" to "my friend booked them on the SAFC corporate account":lol::lol::lol:

Why would he fly from new York when he's in Boston?
