Borini

he has said over and over again that he wants to stay at liverpool. he tried his arse of for us to try and get a starting place at liverpool. I genuinely don't think he wants to come and i don't think it would be a good idea spending 14mill on a player who might have zero drive to play for us if he does reluctantly move.

Has he? There isn't a hope in hell of him playing for Liverpool next season, he's just not good enough and I reckon he will know that himself. We will sign him IMO, just let it all play out.

We wont have bothered negotiating a fee if we knew he was just going to reject us.
That's what I would of thought, I know it's supposed to be illegal but it's difficult to believe we didn't sound him out before committing ourselves

Happens in every transfer doesn't it or else you'd get far less moves happening if you just had to bid and hope. Plus I'm sure we'll have had a word with him before he left us.

The thing is with this deal is that we are the only side mental enough to pay £14m for him so there's no rush on Borini's part to sign anything, he can take as long as he wants to negotiate the best deal for himself, we are not going to pull out and move onto other targets.

Actually he did, several times during his time with us.

Means nowt, of course he wants to play for Liverpool, they're miles better than us. The fact is though that he isn't good enough and it was never going to happen.

There is alot of people in denial on here. Dinnit worry you can give your heart to the next player who we negotiate with.

Hopefully his agent/advisor is talking to us but if he really doesn't want to come then I hope we move on quickly and stop wasting our time.

Seems a very small plane for a multi million pound team of superstars to be flying to the USA on, no first class by the looks of it

Rodgers has said he wants to keep him. Borini's agent has said a few times that he wants (and expects) to stay at Liverpool. Pool have accepted an offer because it's above and beyond their valuation. It'll be a case of Pool having to say he's not wanted which doesn't seem to be the case given his involvement in the first team squad. Depending on who they sign, the situation could change quickly.

Do people expect Liverpool to just pay his wages while he sits around for a week doing fuck all while his agent negotiates ? Yes still a Liverpool player why wouldn't he go

Some bloody bed wetters on here
Why would Liverpool let Borini sign before the Remy deal goes through?

A bid has been accepted so Borinis agent will be dealing with personal terms not Borini himself.

He's still a Liverpool player so still has to attend the preseason schedule he can't turn around and say he's not going he still has a contract to fulfil.

Stop pissing the bed folks
