I don't work there and my friend isn't particularly high up. I don't know that he's even in Boston at this moment? I will say Boston and New York are very close in US terms and are easily driveable. I'm not going to tell you something that I don't know though so your guess is as good as mine.
Why drive 3 and half hours to New York when you could quite easily get a flight from Boston to UK

I'm not necessarily buying into the guys info but I am not discrediting it either. Aren't Liverpool playing Man City in New York? He didn't say when the flight was so it may be following the visit to the Yankees stadium. I've flown via CDG before from the Americas. It has always depended upon availability of seats.

Theyre in Chicago now

Why drive 3 and half hours to New York when you could quite easily get a flight from Boston to UK/Paris.

I'm a bit confused by the whole thing. Why announce the deal, when it seems he isn't ready to sign? And then why not pull the plug when he doesn't sign? It's a puzzle wrapped in an enigma...

We haven't announced anything.

He hasn't turned us down, yet.

We're hoping to convince him to sign.

I've always found CDG a bit of a pain. I always ask to be routed through LHR, Brussels or, at a push, Zurich...

worst hub in Europe. Free tours of Paris suburbs in a plane, lousy layout and a world class baggage system which sadly is operated by workshy morons.

Don't mind Schipol or Frankfurt. Never used Zurich as a transfer.
