Exactly... a lot of deals are waiting for other deals to go through....

Always the same but more now than ever

You joking aint you? ... lots more business to be done yet.

Great stuff, hopefully a few nice surprises along the way

again I'd probably agree but can't get too carried away

Poyet knows what he wants, we short on numbers especially when the likes of Roberge, Mavrias, Ba, NDiaye are still playing for their futures in an already small squad.

Poyet likes players who can cover a couple of positions, Borini, Vergini are prime examples of this.

Aye the latter done really. The former, heard we made positive steps and agreed to wages etc however, not the medical for tomorrow that ponteland is mentioning.

Once the top clubs finalise there squads that's when a lot of deals will take place.

Man Utd players? I might owe a certain poster off here a grovelling apology if they come off.

Boring is signing isn't he. Love Iceman me like.

Iceman and Quinny getting off a plane to tell SSN that he's buying the club will be forever linked in my head. Every time the Iceman posts something positive, I know it's gonna be class

Got to admit delighted with getting Rodwell to agree to join, says a lot about Poyet's ambition and how he sold the club as numerous other clubs were interested as reported.

Got a good feeling about the near future.

Haway The Lads

Ellis has backed all the managers under his tenure and they have all let him down, is it fair to assume he hasn't had his fingers burned too much and will back Gus financially?

Last season, some of our best players were loanees - Ki (for quite some time), Borini, Alonso - and considering we usually replace loans with more loans, it's really quite exciting to see weak positions being filled with permanent signings. This seasons loan players can come in without that weight of expectation and hopefully play their natura

Congerton will look to use the loan system with all his contacts in the game.

I know Im just stating the obvious before anyone starts.

Some of our best players in recent seasons were loanees - Evans, Mensah, Welbeck, Rose, Ki (for a period), Borini, Alonso - and considering we usually replace untested loans with more untested loans, it's really quite exciting to see our weaker positions being filled with permanent signings. Let's hope they get up to speed quickly so this season's loan players can come in without an added weight of expectation, and hopefully play their natural game.

Buzzing. Let's conga with Conga.
