He certainly has been bold with his statements. As I said, last I heard, positive steps had been taken but decision had not been made. Told people that a good while again. Probably end of last week. Nowt changed since then, well from what I have been told anyway. Obviously, could be wrong.

Hope Fabio signs. Really do. Hope it is soon too.

If you know something , text a friend , tell a taxi driver , mention it to your son /daughter/father etc

Splashing( literally) all over a forum when you know 99.9% you will be accused of being a tit,knob,mag, wanker etc...

And if correct , you ain't getting a prize , a warm glow perhaps, but at some point you are setting yourself up for a fall...

Its all a bit dull and all that and its fairly obvious that he's reluctant to sign. The only main problem with the delay is that we need a player in this position and we need them soon.

However if he does, he will be an excellent signing and I have no doubt that he will give his all for us.

Difficult to know the circumstances really, of course it is feasible that he doesnt want to come here although, equally feasible that he does want to come but:

a) SAFC might not be offering same wages as he is on at LFC and might not want to take pay cut.
b) he has to consider if his lass/family would be happy in north east.
c) he might want assurances he will be played in preferred postion.
d) he might assurances that rest of team will be improved so not scrapping relegation again.

plus any other thing that might make him hestiant to join. It's easy to forget that it is a job for these people, we would all give our right arm to play for Sunderland but thats (rightly) not how players think about it.
