Booing prior to the kick off.

Absolutely spurious argument. You can have a basic level of respect for other people and not be a snowflake, which frankly like pc and woke are now just de facto derogatory terms thrown about by people to describe a person who challenges their prejudice.

But you're allowed to boo or say something and people are allowed to argue against it. It's how it always worked and still does.

I liked the suggestion that only "leftys" can be snowflakes when the rabid right-wingers are the biggest snowflakes of all. Pure projection.

Using Newcastle fans after the way they have welcomed the Saudis

Is this a wind up
You’re conflating two entirely different points. From here on is it the case than something happens at Newcastle and the response is to bring it back to Saudi ownership?
Sunderland has a problem over the knee, Newcastle doesn’t, but it’s fine as Saudi ownership is a bigger problem than Sunderland knuckle draggers?

They're an ethnic group, not a race.

Where have I said discrimination is okay?
You said "Calling Welsh "racist" because they don't like the English is wrong or else where do you stop?"

I inferred from that, that you think it's ok for Welsh people to dislike a entire nation.

And splitting the hair of ethnic group and race is poor at best.

Can we not just treat people as individuals, instead of saying it's ok to dislike entire ethnic groups???

So your anecdote about your interactions Australians and South Africans are you admitting you're a racist now if you're now claiming they are no different?

The Union Flag in your avatar was a slight giveaway to be fair.

I did at the time and will happily say so, based on my experience I prefer some races to others. You won't admit it for whatever reason.

This is what I said.

"Everyone has a degree of racism in them tbh, including yourself.

You won't admit it of course but I'd guess there are some races you'd generally prefer to others.

I usually get on with Australians but haven't met a white South African I could abide.

In a bar, watching their two football teams play, I'd gravitate towards the Aussies."

You may believe you're different but I'd doubt it."

The flag is nothing to do with anything btw, just a happy reminder of taking my sons to Germany supporting England.

it's very noticeable, especially to the rest of the country when on various media outlets. embarrassing really.
The rest of the country views us as backward fuckwits, despite the fact they have as many backward fuckwits as we do. The media, whilst to be honest rarely mention Sunderland anyway, but when they do, the default is to portray us negatively, you just have to look at the negative press Sunderland got over Brexit, purely because we were the first result declared, it was almost as if Brexit was voted in because of Sunderland, despite the fact that 5 other regions in the NE alone had a higher % in favour vote.

No knuckle draggers in Newcastle then

Agree. I think we were unfairly targeted re. The Brexit stick.....'look at those northerners celebrating job losses'.

If you look at north south divide, more votes for brexit in south. Fact.

That top part was me quoting someone else.

I've lived all over the UK and that really isn't my experience.

Sunderland was reported on for being the first to deare, that happens in most elections.

How was the coverage negative if that's what the majority voted for?

I really don't understand your point.

Xenophobia

That wasn't the media and, tbh, I didn't see anyone else saying it.
Xenophobia
No it's not.

A phobia is an irrational fear or hatred of something.

A dislike of a particular race, based on experience, is logical.

Two entirely different things.

If you blanket don't like white South Africans because of your personal experience with the white South African(s) you have already encountered this is prejudice/xenophobia.

I'm not sure how the colour is relevant in your anecdote, mind unless you're going for the "John Terry defence".

It was the media in part. I recall it at the time. Brexit city, etc. Just do a Google and see what pops up. Not a massive deal, but in months and years following think a general narrative that Brexit a northern thing, when not.

Being a racist is "logical" now?

Utter horseshit. Dislike the individual people (regardless of race), yes (because it's those people that have wronged you) but hating innocent people just because they happen to share the same race as those people that have wronged you?

It's pretty much the definition of racism.

Xenophobia is a fear of people you may not have ever encountered.
That's not what you said.
It is, exactly.

Xenophobia is a fear or hatred of anything perceived to be foreign or strange. For example, someone from another country.

And if you're going to argue that this

A dislike of a particular race, based on experience, is logical.

Is exactly the same as this

Prefering one group of people over another, based on experience, is perfectly logical

I can't really help you as in one you're discussing a negative sentiment and, in the other, you're discussing a positive sentiment.
