Booing and abuse

Lots has been made of these games meaning nowt, and let’s be honest qpr means nowt either.
But for all most have accepted this for weeks, if they don’t perform like lions in the first playoff game, the bit of booing they got today may well be a lot worse and toxic

Just not convinced performances can be turned on and off like a tap

I think it’s ridiculous hurling abuse at a team that finished 4th to be honest. Completely understand disappointment in missing out (we werent a better side than Leeds or Burnley) and recent performances but the idea of battering the players ahead of the playoffs is insane to me. Surely we should be pulling together and trying to sell out the play off semi and getting a decent atmosphere going
Not having this like. No disrespect to Oxford and I'm pleased they've survived but our players should be buzzing and playing themselves onto the first team shite for a potential final at Wembley. All we had to do today was be professional, look like we wanted to win it and put some effort in and Oxford probably wouldn't have been able to handle us.

Players acting like they can't be arsed but they could be putting themselves about trying to get a Wembley appearance in the near future.

We need a massive performance next weekend and a convincing win. The whole negativity around the club will be massively detrimental in the play offs and we need to go into the play offs with even an inch of positivity. RLB is digging his own grave as it stands,

It's always our fault. According to some, we should just spend our hard earned money, shut up and be happy, because we have no ambition for our club to get in the Premier League.
And the club have this exact view of us.

No respect for the loyal fan base and only have a focus on £££.

The Black Cats bar fiasco against the Mags was an insight into their complete disregard for our history and supporters.

The fans are pulling together, doing their bit, travelling 100’s of miles and spending 100’s of pounds week in week out.

It is the team and manager who aren’t pulling their weight. And haven’t been for six months.

We can only bite our tongues in the stand for so long.

Booing at this stage of the season is pointless tbh but can understand the frustration of the fans there. All that money to watch that utter shit
A winning mentality is not something you can switch on/off at will. Carrick at Boro made this mistake in the playoffs last season and they couldn’t get it back on track when it mattered.
