There's Danny Collins reviewing the goals and he just pointed out the obvious about Winchester not getting goalside for the 2nd. That's exactly what I said, as I simply said the 2 goals were players mistakes, though Hoffman probably thought ball was coming to him for the 1st. Collins didn't then go on about Johnson after the 2nd so go whinge about Johnson somewhere else 😂
Collins gets paid to attend and co commentate on Sunderland games, he can't come out and directly criticise the manager.

Because having watched the game, and the way the players performed, I put that result much more down to the players not turning up, than any “formation” or tactic.

Is Johnson blameless? Of course not. Is he mainly to blame? No, I’m not having that like - the players were absolutely woeful. As Danny Collins (I think rightly) said, they just downed tools.
Why did they 'down tools' though? It's nowt to do with the players' ability, or whatever formation they played - it's what's going on in their heads - something's up with the way they're managed and coached. I'll accept that a team can have an out of character bad day once in a while, but this sort of display is happening too often.

Benno summed it up, they gave up, could’ve been eight or nine easily.

He has to go

Why go back to a back four ffs absolutely no need, looked like they didn’t have a clue.
