This is where we find out how big Speakman’s balls are, regular batterings from league one plodders and only 1 win in last 5 games is not promotion standard. He needs to send LJ packing.

Laugh all you like. He will not be sacked. What else can we do ?? Onto the next game we go. Moan all you want on the internet. It changes nothing.

There's Danny Collins reviewing the goals and he just pointed out the obvious about Winchester not getting goalside for the 2nd. That's exactly what I said but Collins didn't then go on about Johnson so go whinge about Johnson somewhere else 😂
So why decide on a back four? Who decided that? The manager. He fucked up. Again.

A Co commentator is only ever going to mention the on pitch performance and possible error. He's never going to go any deeper than that, especially when he's employed by said club.

Both of our good runs this season have been playing 4 at the back. Aug-Oct and Nov-Dec.
Unfortunately you are wrong. We won 6 games in November & December. In 3 of them we played 5 at the back. And in 2 of the other three we played with a centre back playing at right back and tucking in to the middle when we were defending. Only the first win in that period was with a back 4 - and that was against a pretty horrific Ipswich side.

Who would play as the Yankee centre half ?? We all wanted Flanaghan dropped…. He can’t win. If he’s started Flanaghan he would have got shit too. Once again, too many players not at it. Winchester was surprisingly poor and hoo I was terrible.
At least the two new lads looked bright. Just got to move on now. He won’t be sacked any time soon. If we don’t go up then he has to go 100%.

Check out his last 4 seasons - gets into good positions then slides down. That's the facts. Manager's who get teams promoted don't do this every year. If you believe in looking at past data he will do it this year and next year and onwards. Serious question. Do you not have any doubts that Lee Johnson is the right man to get us promoted. Ignore the players for a moment. Do you have any doubts or concerns about Lee Johnson's ability to achieve this years target?
@Sweeper doesn't :lol:

Because having watched the game, and the way the players performed, I put that result much more down to the players not turning up, than any “formation” or tactic.

Is Johnson blameless? Of course not. Is he mainly to blame? No, I’m not having that like - the players were absolutely woeful. As Danny Collins (I think rightly) said, they just downed tools.
Manager and players....yes, formation and tactics go and get F ked, your having a laugh.

Regardless of whoever is brought in, regardless if they aren't even any better, there comes a point for the self respect of a famous club that a manager whose players performed like that has got to be fired. Failing to do so sends the message that it is somehow acceptable and once we believe that then there is no level to which we cannot sink

So now all these new guys who have just joined the club will look at the game and think " this defence and midfield are poor ". perhaps these same players will edge out the regulars ,i. e GOOCH and push on

Because they are not scared of the boss..nor hold respect...nor like how he manages..would Citeh players throw in the towel like we did?...

I pity the poor buggers at the game. The journey home will be rather somber or hopefully a drink induced coma!

I think the worst I had was 6-1 at Blackburn 30 odd years ago.
I had a lucky escape with that Blackburn game. I got pissed on the Friday slept in and missed the bus 🤣

Ive had other things to worry about this afternoon and missed the match commentary entirely.
Seems it's a good job.
Was it as bad as the score suggests?

What's Johnson's job and his responsibilities then?

You really think there's not a direct correlation between our approach and how we defend?
