Only reason any team plays 3 centre halfs is if the defenders arent good enough to play as a 2. Batth might make all the difference to him and allow us to attack more

Well, that's not true, there are loads of tactical reasons as to why you might play three at the back.

If you have creative players who are perfectly suited to playing as wing-backs, you might accommodate them; you might want to play three through the middle and also have two up top.

Makes so much sense. We were set up defensively last week for the first 25 minutes and it was awful. This is a mush better set up and it shows we are going for a win which we have to at this point. I am pleased with this team.
Could and should have cost us last week, couldnt get out of our own half playing clown football.

Shout out for one of the best Mams I know. It's @addicted_to_safc's birthday today. For those who don't know, she puts in one hell of a shift every day caring for her disabled daughter, as well as looking after her other children. If anyone deserves three points on her birthday, then it's her! Haway the lads.
Thanks bec's x
