Well 2 have failed again in the top order. How many more chances are they allowed in what is a short window of games this season?
In normal circumstances it wouldn’t be fair to drop a batsman after two poor games. It’s the kind of thing England used to do in the 90’s.
For me, as I said last week, you need atleast four games in my opinion to prove any form worthy of being dropped or being retained. In this circumstance I’d perhaps yield to 3 games.
Not exactly a wealth of talent waiting in the wings though.
