Blockyard Brew Co brewery Roker

Having Fosters on draft is absolutely laughable like. I get doing Guinness and something like a Cruzcampo, but otherwise you should be trying to sell something a bit different. And by different I don’t mean just getting a load of Beavertown kegs in that you can get literally anywhere else.

I’m the type of person they should appeal to but I don’t have much desire to drink there regularly

Reading between the lines after taking to the fella behind the bar Fosters will be getting ditched.

I’ve seen it on in quite a few places. Now I’m on the spot I’ll struggle to make them, but they’re there.
All over the craft places in Newcastle. Full Circle, Wobbly Duck, Mean Eyed Cat, 2 Knives. The Central… off the top of my head. Seen it in the Isis, and cans in the peacock. Kegs also seen in off the ground in Boro, and I’m sure that Lost Robot in Sedgefield had it on too.

Me too. I know the beer ponces are moaning about the quality of the beer, but I’ll be sitting in there or the Ivy rather than spoons when I’m waiting for the last bus home.

Just hope he picks the brewing side up.

Exactly prefer the Ivy and Mortal Hound to a drab boring spoons anyday.

Mortal Hound has got off to a good start numbers wise but some of that will be because its new.

The big test will be how it does during the week.

Sells Vaux on draught according to FB. Don't know anywhere else that sells it apart from The Taproom and Pop Recs.

Diego’s in Sunniside has a Vaux beer done especially for them too
