Black's Corner plans to transform Seaburn tram shelter

Hmmm. So now it's just going to be a deli and not a cafe. A little bit less excited about that as I was. I thought it was going to do both. Still, better than a tramps toilet.

thats what blacks corner are. it was always said it was a deli, probably with space to have a coffee as well

Behopes if it does get the go ahead the staff are happier with the sea air at the beach than they are in Boldon. Christ alive they are sick as chips when I’ve got in there.

Noticed a post on Facebook there from the council stating that an area of public seating will be retained. Should keep the fuckers who have never sat there but moaned about it happy. I don't think that was mentioned in previous articles.

I love a charcuterie board like,
Bread, ham, cheese and a beer/wine/port

I wish more bars just did stuff like this, doesn't have to be deli, I am a man of simple pleasures

B-b-but we don’t want any more tasteful developments and places to eat, we want to keep the holes in the roof, the place for pigeons to roost and the underlying smell of piss, it’s part of our heritage…
Said the leader of Sunderland City Council
"we want to continue to make sure we keep people in the past, dreaming of dirty, dangerous manual jobs in coal mines and make sure that Sunderland folk know their place in the pecking order.
We need to prevent the plebs from becoming socially mobile and bettering themselves or else there will be no poor people to vote labour".

There was a bar in Leeds that did 'bread and cheese' or 'pie' and I'm sure it was only a quid but it was a lump of decent cheese with some quality bread or a decent pork pie.
Nice and simple snack that went lovely with a pint.
