Lack of composure is his worst trait, he seems to have most other things nailed, he’s strong, he gets into the right positions, has a bit of pace yet every f***ing shot he takes is straight at the keeper. That one on one today was just a joke for a professional player. That is the reason why we won’t drop Isodor for him any time soon no matter how poor Wilson has been.

To not even attempt to get a shot off was baffling. No idea what he was trying to achieve.

I agree, he should have got a shot away. Some of the posts and comments have been way over the top though given the job he has done for the team playing out of position in recent weeks.

Composure comes with experience , he’s doing his best and only playing because of injuries to Mundle and Watson. Other poster, not yourself , need to think about the abuse they are typing, he’s a bairn in football terms.

In Jobe and a more experienced Dan Neil we have a midfield to compete with anyone in this league. We have a strong first choice defence now with able deputies to come in if hit by injuries

Patto has continued to develop into one of, if not, the best keepers in the league and we have recruited a Champo level deputy

When our wide players are fit we have as good as anyone in the league now - including yet another outstanding prospect in young Tommy

We have Chris Rigg in the team and there is not another team in the league for whom he would not be one of the first names on the teamsheet

Up front in Isidor, Connolly and Mayenda we have forwards who have shown they can score at this level

Obviously ideally we should recruit a regular experienced goalscorer in January but they cost a fortune and there are no guarantees as those of us who remember the signing of Tore Andre Flo know

Disappointing to concede a late equaliser but a point away at a promotion rival who were one of the top in form teams recently is a very good result

Think we need some perspective on a disappointing result only because the equaliser came so late

Also he actually showed really good pace & strength to keep ahead of their defenders.

The keeper did really well to charge out at his feet as he tried to go round him.

Yes - disappointing but some of our so called fans on here really do love to pile on our own players

We've gone from being great 1st half/bad 2nd half to the opposite. This is surely down to lack of squad rotation. It's lovely having two/three promising players under 18/19 in the squad but why ARE we plying them every game?

It's been the same since KLD and KS joined the club. They do this in spite of resting our younger talented players. Because of their alterior motive. This is a Football club. Nobody gives a shit about YOUR profit. How's JC doing? btw expect much more of it in the coming months/years.

Protecting young players from injuries/overplaying them etc should be paramount!

And his touch is absolutely horrendous. Has pace and a great engine and that's about it. A work in progress but involved too soon.

He's got some physical attributes and works hard. Hopefully he can improve technically and his understanding of the game. He isn't a winger but this experience will do him good. The amount of game time he's getting isn't ideal for a team in the top 6. Unfortunately we have 3 of our 4 wingers injured.

We have come away with a point from an in form team after being f***ing stinking for a half.

Need to address this conceding first issue though. Or get more attacking talent in in January

He has power and pace. Defenders don’t like that. But he’s erratic with his touch, and too often lacks composure. Obviously if there weren’t as many injuries he wouldn’t be playing. But he probably has to start more than he should at present and he should be looked after by his manager a fraction better in games.

He's only 19. You're right though, without injuries he would be coming off the bench.

We were lucky to not be 3-0 down after 15 mins. A point isn’t a bad a result today.

Very harsh. He’s shown composure in the recent past.

That 1 on 1 at the death today was very poor though.

That's a situation most forwards dream of. He blew it. He doesn't deserve a place in a man's team, yet.

Benefit of hindsight etc, but could have done with a defender replacing Rigg as all blackburn were doing was standing up crosses to the far post.
