Alot of the major issues we've seen in the US are politically motivated by Ultra far left groups using the gullible vote greedy democrats to get their way. And of course it will all end in disaster, the Democrats will drop them once they get into power, and the Republicans will blame them for defeat. In this country we'll see the continued divide between the working classes and the woke middle classes. All this will play out with a back drop of coronavirus job shedding recession..

One of the biggest issues that stand out (for me) is the media, they have been so condescending and have preached a one-sided view, no debate, no understand and no room to move. They've knocked back the great work other well established anti-racist organisations have achieved in this country over the last 20 years..

The few that have spoke up have been shut up right away. People have lost there jobs for speaking out against BLM even though they have said nothing racist

Looks like a lot of people are trying to run for cover now. What a shame that such a worthy cause has such sinister undertones of hard left political Marxism and anarchism. Playing right into Trumps hands yet again. Karl Henry has it spot on. Few people on these message boards been caught out. Shameful.

From a football point of view there should have been an increased effort of Kick it out or Show racism the red card. Instead I feel BLM being used may be even more damaging

George Floyd is a martyr because he is representative of an underclass. He was not a perfect bloke and he clearly had done bad things (albeit largely over a decade before). As you say, none of that makes it ok to murder him, and he's one in a long list. His death was filmed though, in graphic detail. That's why he's important.

Black people don’t commit crimes because they have skin ffs. Look into it there’s plenty of criminology out there. People commit crime because they are generally : in poorer mental health, on low income, living in poor or overcrowded housing, have low cognitive ability (often linked to traumatic life Experiences Including racism and education), don’t have a job, don’t have a positive lifestyle eg peers who are offenders, are involved in substance misuse, have a pro criminal mindset or sense of grievance. I don’t agree with defunding the police in this country I think they’ve been savaged but I do agree that More money here and in the USA should be redistributed towards families and communities who suffer and that would include many Deprived high crime white communities - I Can think of a few in Sunderland - but in many cases that would be minority groups. Either you’re saying the blacks need ‘sorting out’ in an enforcement kind of way or you’re missing the point entirely that criminality is in the huge majority of cases is a product of psychological and social conditions. So are you saying they should invest more in black communities to reduce crime ? In many ways that’s what BLM - the political movement - are actually saying. Personally I think it’s unhelpful to make social investment and regeneration just about black people it should be about poor people In challenged communities but if we did more based on that criteria we’d support a lot of black people. It’s not because they were genetically born with black skin it’s because society is tougher for many of them. Why would any human with soul not want to raise up people who suffer - whatever their colour. It’s what’s gone tits up about our society. There’s enough cash flushing around in big business ffs. The government recently even printed money to pay for it so it can be found.

They also fund the Democratic party in the USA. Anyone who donates to the "Cause" , the money can go anywhere and to anyone they see fit to that is anti establishment..

i don't normally disagree with you but Capitalism in any form helps to creates society. Whether that is for the good or bad of the populace.. Without it, there would be no society, just an economic breakdown, law and order, then chaos. I don't think even you would want theat..

Millions in this country, the majority infact, are neither far left or far right and don’t want extreme political agendas forced on them by anyone. Believe it or not they simply want to get on with their lives and will support causes they believe in at any given time. It’s called democracy.

Let’s see the faces behind BLM (UK) a faceless movement that has been hijacked by left wing extremists and which has, in the last few days, come out with crap like defunding the police and ending capitalism (free market economy). Who are the people saying these things? Let’s see you in public arguing your corner instead of anonymously advocating violence and congregating in huge numbers in the middle of a pandemic crisis. As on the BLM marches they’ve had, I would guess many will be white far left, middle class Marxist agitators (many of the young people who are attached to them are University educated from from wealthy families).

The BLM ‘white privilege’ argument is pathetic too, as ‘the system’ has resulted in large swathes of the white population In this country living in poverty at least as bad as any people of any colour. Look down parts of the East Durham coast in the old mining heartlands for starters. Equality and chances are deserving to all and you can not argue that this happens.

Let’s get back to us all saving SAFC on here anyway!

It wasn't hijacked by left wing it was started by them to hoodwink people into thinking it was a good cause. The movement was originally called hand up dont shoot that was based on a lie. The founders admitted thet are trained Marxists.
