You can tell he has got quite a frail mentality about how he's perceived. I really liked them and I am no fan of Bill Bailey or Paul Merton tbh

Watched all four and thoroughly enjoyed them. Nice hearing people talking about themselves and their issues Everyone needs a mate to walk and talk with imo.

Just watched the Alan Davies one. Really good viewing.

Davies seems really troubled, mind. Scarred for life from a horrific childhood.

Hopefully being open about his experience has taken some weight off his shoulders.

Watched the first two. Couldn't help but find my self comparing it to Whtehouse and Mortimer. Maybe it's because the characters aren't northerners , but it didn't really get going for me.
I can see Dangermows point that it's not set up to be a comedy.
I found it a tad boring .

Not really a fan of Bill Bailey, or a lot of his guests, but the concept is a good one, pubs and walks, its easy to watch, been in a few of the pubs he visits as well.

It's funny on hignfy but full on all day would annoy the hell out of you

You could knock something together out of Herrington past the stables into Penshaw I suppose .
