Bilbao Black Cats Junior Cup Tournament

Bumpty bump.

@aupaalaves Hows the plans for this going?
Spot on mate. We've got a meeting scheduled with the director of sports for Biscay county council on February 8th. Likes the idea of what we're planning to do and keen to hear more.

We're hoping they will help us with accomodation for the English teams that come over.

One of the townhalls of the venues has said they have empty rural houses they can potentially offer.

Need to have a meeting with them.

Went well mate. County Council have given authorisation to hold the tournament and will support it by providing some equipment as well as funding shuttle buses from accomodation to tournament venues for English teams.

Sadly, as we expected the challenging aspect is getting English teams to come over due to logistical difficulties at least for this year. We've had clubs say they will most likely come over next year with more time to plan ahead.

We'll keep looking for English teams and regardless of getting any, the tournament will still go ahead and be en English language immersion and Sunderland AFC educational experience for local kids.

We have indeed. In fact, we sent an email to the Irish black cats and every single supporters branch with contact details the BLC website. To now, we've had a reply from Malcolm Bramley from the Senior supporters branch who sent us a really lovely email and was extremely helpful.
