Bid rejected for Clarke

15m seems reasonable

Lets not forget he is unproven at PL Level and no guarantee he would deliver consistently. It is much easier in the Championship primarily as you don't come up against sides like Man City where you cant even get the ball off them. I would expect Clarke to do well in the Prem relatively speaking but how much up side there is from 15m maybe 20-25 at most

He's a key player for us. He only has to deliver in the Championship. Best view refusing a £15m bid as a significant down payment toward reeling in the £100m prize. :)

Burnley had Tella last year who scored around 14 goals but Southampton want £15 m for him and see Clarke as cheaper option but we should make sure he isn’t by sticking out for £15 m too.

You're telling me you know his job better than him and his employers?
I'd say yes. Keith can't be arsed, and Sky can't be bothered to replace him.

It would genuinely be very very very easy to type out a tweet when Sunderland played a match. Or signed a player. Boro, Gateshead, the two Shields and others as well.

It would have been very very easy for him to get a metro to South Shields and / or Gateshead friendlies. Even don't watch the match but arrive on 85th min to interview the manager afterwards. Or some fans.

I completely understand going to watch and report the mags when we play at the same time. They are in a higher division. But Keith is just bone idle.

All sky regional reporters might be the same for all I know, I don't check up on them. But Downie is lazy and poor. There's no harm in calling that out.

It just looks like people shouting at someone because their job title doesn't come with all of the responsibilities they believe it should. Sky Sports get to dictate what they deem newsworthy and if Sunderland and co isnt then I wouldn't get upset over it, or do but to argue there business or job responsibilities is a bit silly imo there.
