Bid rejected for Clarke

15m upfront and if he wants away then I'd let him go for that. Ideally don't want him to go at all. I even think at 15m he'd be under valued but if he wants away then 15m upfront would be my asking price. Bristol City have just rejected 20m with add ons reportedly for Alex Scott. We've no reason to be bent over and held at ransom. Promotion is the aim and Clarke is arguably our best player.

Even if you take away the % that we have to give to Arsenal/Spurs then we will still be in the green.

I hope to god they all stay but we knew this day was coming, if they feel like they’ve outgrown the club already and want to go then let them, just have faith in our recruitment that we will reinvest that money properly.
Ah defo. I don't want any player here who doesn't want to be here. I just don't hear them noises from Clarke, Got to take everything with a pinch of salt.

Don’t really want to be negative, which is why i didn’t post the other night but watching the last friendly I got the feeling Jack looked liked someone who maybe wanted out and the other players knew. Perhaps it was just me but something didn’t look right with how he played and interacted with the other lads

Now thats just silly

Its on a par as in January when we failed to sign a forward and everyone going "at least we didnt sign Will Grigg"

And yet we are told how players want to be at Sunderland 😑

Were a championship club

Why would anyone stay in the championship if they had a chance to play in the premier League

He doesn't want away. Every interview he's given he's mentioned how happy he is here. Every time. Even as an aside completely out of nothing. He's done his random move to the premier league already. He wants to stay here for now where he's settled.

If we get a big offer he will probably be gone. But not because he wants to leave. Personally I'd be trying to keep him as even one season at Premier league level will double his value

This article says he's keen to get away and play at a higher level and that Burnley gave a bid that we asked for earlier but we turned it down. He's not happy that we went back on our word.

What a load of shite.
