Bid rejected for Clarke

Clubs usually don't put a bid in unless they've already got the nod from the player's agent that the player is interested in the move. It'll take more than £9m but I fear we could lose Clarke this window.

He’s away we’ve seen this too often. Transfer request pending from the player hopefully we don’t get our pants pulled down in the deal and play hardball

Levy is prepared to turn down allot of money for Kane even though he is last season , reason is he will make then just as much by keeping him, if we have ambitions to go up Clarke is vital to us and we all know what cash promotion brings, be mental to sell at this point especially with his length of contract still to run

I don't like it when people want to buy our players, only when we want to buy other peoples' players! 😏

Honestly tho, gonna be a long summer! Hopefully some decent incomings.

or hes after more money in the negotiations over a new deal.
Am I imagining that it was said somehwere that Jack was the top earner in the team? If so that's gonna need a rethink on the wage structure.

Don't think you can put us in the same bracket as Spurs mate.

It'll be unfortunate to sell Clarke, but it will have to be a big offer to turn our heads.

There are plenty of accepted bids turned down by players so I'm not sure where you've got that from. You need to factor in to the fact that he is contracted until 2026 which means we are in the position of strength. Nothing will happen unless the bid was way higher. Anything over £20M and we can really make use of that money for squad strengthening.
