Has not Speakman told the press that Dan Ballard and Clarkie are both happy here and are not for sale and that they are sorting out a new contract for Patrick Roberts? Who is also happy here?

Then as I've said before, he should go then. When we get an offer that satisfies us, we will sell him.
Mate if you or I workred 33% of the year and had 67% of the year off, on full pay, how would our bosses feel if we marched in and demanded a massive pay rise or we would leave?
Needs to be a level of sense here.
If he thinks Stoke City money is going to be the best he will ever do, we are probably best shot of him anyway, cos it shows a lack of belief in his own ability, and maybe he thinks last season was a flash in the pan that he can't replicate.

Alternatively, how would you feel if you did exactly the same job as your mates but they were getting paid double or three times what you are, despite the fact that you're crucial to your employer and one of the best and most important employees.

I wouldn't have signed the contract in the first place.
He was as happy as a pig in shit to sign and get the opportunity to play for us when he joined, and happy with the money or he wouldn't have signed it. That contract is still valid marra. We may even have offered to improve it.
If he doesnt like it now, tough. He will be sold on our terms, not for his convenience.

I kna nowt but if this is anywhere near correct “ hinting “ would be very good news-guess we shall see if Prehabs hints are correct

He replied when asked if was out of Stewart, Clarke and Roberts who had signed and he replied "66.6%". So i take that as Clarke and Roberts. No way Stewart would have signed.

I wouldn’t be. Not at the minute. Things are massively improving throughout. Plus another season like last and he will be worth a lot of money in wages and transfer. He’s not going anywhere imo. This season at least
