Saying that if a massive offer comes in we could accept but Clarke won’t push for a move
This is not true. Not by a long way. Don’t translate your own paradigm and motivations onto others. The majority of the world are not motivated by money - they need and want enough money to get by, but they are not motivated to have more and more money. If Jack Clarke was purely motivated by money then he wouldn’t have joined Sunderland permanently last summer.
If Clarke was purely motivated by money, he would have stayed on Spurs books.Don't be silly
Always wondered what happens if a club accepts a bid but player doesn’t want to gan
must’ve happened
We cannot afford to be without the goals that Clarke,Amad, and Stewart provide. So he has 3 years left only a 20 mil plus offer would be worth even considering.
I agree. Big ask just to stand still having lost Amad, Uncertainty over Stewart and one or two others. Clarke remains a key player. I was more suggesting Burnley have time as they can start low and test our resolve - not yet July.
He will go to spurs for more money than & £16 millionBurnley offering £16m for Kyogo.
Do you know this for a fact or guessing mate?He won’t he doesn’t want to leave and is preparing to sign a new contract here probably on less than any PL team will give him.
I can't see anyone paying what we would want for him he probably stay for one more seasonDo you know this for a fact or guessing mate?
Mate, if you’re purely motivated by money then good for you - I hope your bank balance keeps you company at night. But don’t look at the rest of the world through your own sad prism. Most people are motivated by family, friends, health, mental well-being, doing what makes them happy. If Jack Clarke was purely motivated by money then he’d be sat now on his contract at Spurs earning much more than he has over the past 12 months. As someone else has already said, that is fact!Don't be silly
Can people please stop replying to this mag knackerI can't see anyone paying what we would want for him he probably stay for one more season
Absolutely spot on. Some people just lack the imagination to think beyond the first thought that hits their brain. If Clarke was purely motivated by money, he would have stayed on Spurs books.
But he came here.
You can't argue with that mate. It happened.

A hopeful like marra...Said before on here.
Clarke jumped too soon from Leeds to Spurs chasing money, and ended up loaned out and unhappy.
Came here for first team football, and pretty much start again.
Got a run of football and has been brilliant for us. He is playing in front of big crowds, at a well run club, can see the plan, and I really don't think he will make the same mistake again.
He is going nowhere. The money and fame will come for him, but he won't go chasing it.
The lad wants to build a career, not chase money.
He proved that by signing for us in the first place.
Aye, but I think he learned a lesson with that Spurs move, did thd brave thing and came here to play.A hopeful like marra...
