Bid rejected for Clarke

Club can’t win here…Stewart leaves and everyone is up in arms as we didn’t secure him with a bumper pay deal

Stewart stays after being given a bumper pay deal and misses most of the season and they were daft to offer him a deal.

I’ll be disappointed for it to end as it looks like it will, hardly on the pitch and going to another rival in this league (I’d rather he went to one of the Glasgow clubs). He was class for us when on the pitch.

He’ll leave as will other players we’d rather not see go, the trick is not losing the better players all at once and of course being able to replace them effectively
Tbh, I would rather he stayed, but in reality, he is a bit of a walking talking sick note. As good as he is, that is only worth something when he is not on the treatment table.

Club should announce he's up for sale, maximise the suitors/transfer fee. If no-one comes in for him, he's stuck here on his tragically low wage until next summer. good luck with that Rosco lad.

That'll do the opposite of maximising the transfer fee...

His source wants to be bang on mind calling out Roberts’ attitude or he could have stirred a whole load of shite up there.

Can’t be saying stuff like that if it’s not true, could cause some issues.
On that subject, my mate took his son to the training day yesterday, and said what a lovely bloke Roberts is. Was expecting him to be a bit of a bighead( dunno why?), but says he was class, chatting away, being great with the bairn.

Erm................. okay.
Logic being, his agent will have already touted him around - if it's an asset we don't want to lose, we need to be convinced to sell with a higher transfer fee. If they know we want/need to get rid this summer, we're backed into a corner the closer we get to the window closing...

If you put your house up for sale, woudl you rather have one viewing or ten?

fair enough. the world and it's mother have known RS is available for a long time now. time to drive the tyre kickers away and get the serious bidders up against each other.
From what I've seen marra, there aren't even any real tyre kickers yet either. Couple of rumours but nowt else. If they do kick the tyre though, they'd better make sure it's the tyre that they kick, and not the player, or he'll be out for another half a season🤣🤣🤣

Bruun Larsen 'set for Burnley loan'

The BBC are reporting that Burnley are closing in on a season-long loan deal to sign winger Jacob Bruun Larsen from Bundesliga side
Hoffenheim.

Bruun Larsen has won six caps for Denmark and played 14 times last season, scoring once as Hoffenheim finished 12th in the German top flight.

The 24-year-old previously spent four seasons at Borussia Dortmund where he won the German Cup and German Super Cup.
