Bid rejected for Clarke

Said exactly the same he’s wasted the last 3 years of his career at spurs. He’s playing every week and probably is the the main man of the team. Why would he want to move, especially to Burnley
To play PL football, he will get into Burnley’s side and probably double if not triple his wages

Palace are about to sell Olise and have just lost Zaha. They'll be more likely to actually make a serious bid later in the window I reckon. Burnley ffs. With these bids they're essentially saying that Clarke is worth the same fee that he went for as a 17 years old years ago. Trying to take the piss out of Millwall with Flemming too.

For probably one season then have a pay cut at the end of it. I’d understand if he moved to a mid table team like palace but not Burnley
If that happened he’d probably still be on more money than what he’s on now, and he’d be in a team competing to go back up.

Let Burnley make daft offers which the club can easily reject. 10m then taking off whatever sell on fee we owe to Spurs would probably see us pocket a few million quid for one of the most talented players to play for the club in decades. There's no temptation for the club to sell, unless bids in 20/25m start to come in.

Seems like Burnley are hoping to unsettle Clarke so that he puts a transfer request in. Their offers for him so far have been nothing but insulting.

This is from the 1st July, multiple bids of under £10 million (just to add, this was the last time Downie reported on us)

Clearly trying to unsettle the player, they can get fucked.
