Never played any of the Fallout games, I just took them as a reskin of the Elder Scrolls games. Also I've only played Oblivian, thought it was brilliant. Skyrim just looked more of the same to me.

It's been a long enough gap so I might jump into Fallout 4.

Its been nearly 10 year , you're right though skyrim was just more of the same but still excellent.

Skyrim came out <12 months after it was announced, though. And New Vegas was about a year as well.

I honestly think an early 2016 release is more likely than a 2017 one, though!
