Bet 365

Totally agree mate, boils my piss.

What makes some supporters of Albion, Stoke, Sunderland etc make them think they are any more of a fan, or love their club more than fans of Barnet, Stockport, Salford etc
Exactly.
No club is a 'non entity' to its own supporters.
They’re similar to us? In what way?

They’ve won buggar all - ever
Average around 22k at home
Have a well founded rep as cloggers

They may well be in the same league, but theyre not in the same category as Sunderland, sorry
WTF??

I’ve always banged the “we are a fallen giant “ drum.

Not now.

That stopped years ago , there’s an elite now, then the rest of us.

Any club could argue about their “potential” , reality isn’t like that sadly.

The harsh truth is our clubs are no more likely to win the PL in the next 10 or even 20 years than Carlisle.

Stoke could go down on Saturday and I genuinely couldn't give a monkeys. The alternative is a desperate scramble to the PL to spend a fortune to have your arses handed to you for 9 months.

If you do go down, with no FFP in league one, at least you should "do a blues" if Coates spends a good wedge.

At least we will get to play the six fingered mutants from Burslem where your mother is your sister and your father your brother if we get relegated

See one of the US betting giants might also snap them up. Would give them entry to Europe and the UK

They already decoupled Bet365 from the club last summer and John Coates is now in sole ownership.

He will get circa 2-4Bn from that sale so it won't affect us too much. Rules prevent him and them investing now and it will be the same tomorrow.

They'll just be very rich and cash rich people.

If nothing else it opens up the possibility of a new stadium and shirt sponsor.
Think it's funny seeing some Stoke fans wanting to call it the Britannia again

After the old sponsor of all things. Stoke, personifying the entire mighty Great Britain

Big club, small club, similar club. Non entity this, non entity that. My dad's bigger than your dad. Some of you need to read the room.

We have 6 clubs in this country that the football circus are interested in and the rest are here to make up the numbers. That's Stoke, Sunderland and whoever else.

Get promoted yourselves this summer and by October they would have stopped talking about your promotion and will be talking about your impending relegation and whether you can spend the parachute money wisely or not. Once you're relegated theyll forget you ever exist until you get back in again.

The bigger issue here is how and why the football business in this country has been allowed to develop into a closed shop through the back door, and more frankly why clubs have been allowed to go to the wall, in some cases, without so much as a raised eyebrow.

That's the issue and that's the disgrace that everyone should be banging the drum about day in day out.

Well said sir
