You can visit the graveyard used in the film set in Spain. It's on my bucket list. The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.
The soundtrack is immaculate as the film itself. Never bettered.

Good knowledge lad, good knowledge. The book was written by Elmore Leonard considered by Quentin Tarantino, Martin Amis and Stephen King to be the US no 1 crime writer. He also wrote Joe Kidd, “Jackie Brown”, Get Shorty, Out of Sight and dozens more that nivver quite transferred to the screen with any artistic success.
Pre fame Tarantino spent his only night in the cells after being caught shoplifting a copy of his latest at the time.
Hombre was also written by Elmore Leonard.
Monday night 9:00 on BBC 2 from memory.I know it's not a film but loved "Alias Smith and Jones", all the banks and trains they robbed they never shot anyone. Pete Duel was one cool dude.
My favourite is The Outlaw Josey Wales but you could also have:
The Wild Bunch
The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Unforgiven
The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford
Once Upon A Time In The West
Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid
The Searchers
Ride The High Country
Rio Bravo
Shane
High Noon
Blazing Saddles
Cap doffed. Not just one of the best westerns, it's one of the best films of all time.
I haven't read the full thread as I don't want to get banned but I hope someone has mentioned The Searchers. John Wayne in the only film he made where his character wasn't a true blue American hero. He plays an ageing veteran in it, a bigoted, cruel, racist, amoral horrible bastard with chips on both shoulders and more axes to grind than a blacksmith after his holidays, and that's just his plus points. A classic.
