Is the beef dip
Made with heated up sliced cooked beef, the stuff you make a cold sarni with or is it cut off a proper joint?
In that case I'm in. I will have a drive through there sometime soon.no idea i just know its lush but its not thin slices its chunky so i guess cut from joint
Dicksons don’t use gravy and there’s are beautiful. That'll just be a saveloy sarnie then.
Is Ibbitsons still in the town? They used to do cracking dips back in the day.
Where can I get a good one in County Durham? Also whats the difference between a saveloy dip and a savoury dip? Eh?
My first experience of a Saveloy Dip was in 1963 from a butcher by the name of Frederick Seeber Snr. at Hylton Castle shops. Absolutely lush!
