It’s a no but as I said the only one responsible for that is Benitez.

He also has players like Shelvey (you think could be bit part player for top end side), lascelles (he’d attract interest from top half) and a good keeper. Only 1 of those he’s responsible for the other 2 inherited.

Pardew spent more wisely and got more out of average players than Rafa has.

You defend Rafa with your life whilst not giving Pardew lickings of dog.

Very weird.
 

Oh, I'll give Pardew credit to a certain extent for what happened that season. But a lot of it is down to luck.

Also, it's easier for average players to blend in amongst higher-level talent than it is to blend in against other shite.

Ross is destined for the top like. Nailed on he will manage in the top division at some point and hopefully that’s with us.

Krul was very good that season (has regressed since) Coloccini, Santon, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba, Jonas. They would all get into this season's team.

I'd even argue that Leon Best was better than Joselu or Rondon for us.

Just noticed Bear's statement. As if having Cisse for only six months means he can't be used in a comparison. Would we have finished fifth without him? I'd strongly argue not.

Neither got anywhere near a 5th place finish again in their careers.

Ben Arfa was a poor mans sessegnon.

If Benitez did what Pardew did they’d be naming a stand after him.

He has great potential as a Manager, the other two both undoubtedly have their best days behind them

Collicini no better than lascelles.
Jonas no better than Ritchie
Tiote no better than Shelvey
Santon better than your full backs and Ba and Cissé better options than what you’ve got now obviously.

Perhaps Pardew just got the best out of his lot where as Benitez isnt because that list you’ve just given me certainly doesn’t scream quality.

Pardew does shite = sack pardew.com

Fatty does well = Rafas werld class
Fatty does shite = Rafas still werld class
