It all hinges on if he keeps them up really, if they down down he will either leave or they will turn shit.

If they stay up he'll probaly build a good squad for them
Not as good as BSA...Rafa will be looking at no name players that have value in the summer. Different market I believe he is in experienced not even on the same page as he been buying at the very top of the market world class players.. To be honest they would have been better with Bruce.

as much as the mags will no doubt talk this up i am still not worried, in the least, they can change the manager and the coaching staff as many times as they like, however if there players are not up for the battle, then the result will remain the same.

Just seen that they got Rafa in, that is a major coup for them, a big name manager.

Will he keep them up? Who knows? Think he is a better option than McClaren but a few might already be upset he has made them train on their day off, and if they go down he wants nowt to do with them!

To be honest Ashley will have wrote 2 blank cheques for him. One for his wage and the other for a transfer budget he wants, surely the only way he's lured him there

It doesn't matter who they have appointed up the road, they still have a team that consists of Steven Taylor, Ginger Piss Biscuit and strikers who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.
We had a team with Cuellar, Ginger Piss Biscuit & Danny Graham (one goal. Off his arse) & went & beat them 3-0 away after getting a new manager. It doesn't matter how shit your players are, new managers can sometimes have a positive effect.

Ohhh! I don't know, really, not sure, perhaps he can keep them up!?

Agreed, would be happy to see them win the league, they remind me of how Reidy had us when SKP was in his prime.
Exactly how it feels. A forward who's like a Jack Russell chasing a tennis ball, a non stop pain in the arse, and a midfield of players prepared to graft like hell for each other. Couple that with a rock solid defence and a manager who keeps them so relaxed and grounded, they would be my pick every day of the week. They are a breath of fresh air and show that you don't need to spend stupid money to create a 'Team'.

They've appointed a top coach with a reputation in football

I think that's the turning point, unfortunately I can see Rafa keeping them lot up at our expense.

Bricking it for the Derby now.

This is from journalists too. Their pants are well sticky over this.

f***ing hell man, and and Dec are starting.

I haven't been this excited since we appointed Sir Bobby Robson as manager.

I can't bear to look, had a glance before and it's sickening the Chronicle journos are nauseous to be honest.
