The BBC is protecting itself, they know many conservatives disagree in principle with the license fee. They therefore are being overly cautious with the Tory's, don't want to bite the hand that feeds them. I do laugh at all that Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation shite like. Aye Andrew Neil, Nick Robinson, Laura Kuenssberg, all staunch socialists like

Today's BBC has a view of the UK which makes them feel warm and safe. It includes the view that most of us are irrelevant because we live outside their cosy world. For them London is the home of a power that will support their lives and the "Home Counties" (what a name!) are the buffer zone that protects them from us, those "Frightful Provincials" who can never share their views or lives and must not. In Ancient Roman terms we are the Barbarians who are / we (thanks Maggie) conquered amidst mass destruction and savagery. Then we become slaves to toil for them or become recruits into their army to fight for them without choice. Spartacus, where are you?
The Economic politics of these islands dictate that London must prosper and we must suffer. They believe that this is just.
I hate them all.

They are correct. It was a mistake. One that nicely exposes yet again what their priorities, goals and politics really are.

. Oddly it's more than that. I avoid London like the plague. Even the "workers" there seem to share the the view that only London matters sothere is a geographical component there.I was in Feltham for a week two weeks ago. A local offered without any lead from me the sincerely held view that London is England. I was good as gold and relied politely but in reality felt like planting him.
